Overview:
Students use hand binoculars to play I Spy! with various shaped items in the classroom.

Time: 10 minutes

Location: Indoors

Learner Outcomes:

  1. Students will understand that eagles have good vision.
  2. Students be able to spy all 10 shaped objects in the room.

Materials

  1. The seven shapes shown at bottom the page.

Preparation

  1. Hang the various shapes around your classroom in plain view from the Eagle Eye Discovery Center.

they use

bi-noc-u-lar vision. We can learn from eagles to see better.

Do. . .

  1. Cup your hands around your eyes like you were using binoculars
  2. Use your eagle eyes to find these shapes hidden around the room.
