- Students will judge four
pieces of artwork based on their own preferences.
Materials
- 10 or more works of Wildlife
Art (numbered from 1-10 or more)
- Paper Opinion Tokens- heart,
yuk,and house are worth 1000 words.
Preparation
- Set-up the artwork around
your classroom. So students can sequentially move through the pieces.You
may also choose to do a virtual wildlife tour on
Wildlifeart.org.

Wildlife Art Gallery
- In front of you are four
tokens (heart, yuk, house, worth 1000 words). Read the back of each
token.
- Around the room are at
least 10 works of wildlife art.
- Walk around the classroom
carefully looking at each piece of art.
- Place your token by four
pieces of art, based on your personal preferences.
Stories in Pictures
- After you have placed all
four tokens, travel to where you placed the "Worth 1000 Words"
token.
- Carefully look at this
piece of art, again.
- Write AT LEAST a five sentence
story describing what you think is happening in the artwork.
- Return all your tokens
to the beginning of the walk when you are finished.
